Basic page counts
Separately from Google Analytics, we count visits to fixed page categories to help improve Sure CV. Our counter stores only the UTC date, page category and total count in Firebase. It does not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, device details, account details, resume content, referrers or URL parameters, and does not send these counts to Google Analytics. It cannot identify unique visitors or follow individuals between pages. Hosting providers may separately process network information to deliver and secure the service. You can exclude your visits using the checkbox in Cookie settings, independently of your Google Analytics choice. We also honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for these counts. Your exclusion preference is stored in this browser, not attached to your account.
Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics measures page categories and feature usage such as sign-ups, imports, downloads and AI generation. Our events do not include resume text, names, emails, job descriptions or private document links. Google may process technical information such as device and browser details and cookie identifiers. Advertising personalization is disabled. Declining does not affect the builder. You can withdraw consent using Cookie settings at any time. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 90 days.
What we store
SureCV stores account details, CV content, application records, cover letters, uploaded profile images, sharing preferences, and basic view/download counts needed to provide the service.
How information is used
Your information is used to save, edit, export, tailor, and share documents you create. Content sent to AI features is processed to produce the requested analysis or draft and should not include information you do not want processed by that provider.
Service providers
SureCV uses Firebase for authentication, database, file storage, and hosting, and OpenAI for optional AI-assisted features. These providers process data under their own security and privacy terms.
Sharing
A CV is private unless you enable public sharing. Public links may be viewed by anyone with the link unless password protection is enabled. Disable sharing when you no longer want a CV accessible.
Your choices
You can edit or remove stored content through the product. For account deletion, data access, or privacy enquiries, contact support@surecv.app.
Security and retention
Reasonable technical safeguards are used to protect account data. Information is retained while your account or documents remain active and as reasonably necessary for security, backup, and legal obligations.
